These hats are made from the soft, insulating undercoat of the Mongolian yak (Sarlag). Perfect for keeping your head and ears warm on cold days. The yak belongs to the bovine family and lives in the mountainous regions of Central Asia, where it can withstand extreme cold. In appearance, the yak resembles a bull, but with a hairy head and a thick coat that reaches all the way to the ground.
